Yes, see below! On the West side of the map is the Bar Harbor Club, where the Club Pool House, Ball Room, Reception Lawn, Spa, and Clay Tennis Courts are located. Just East is the Harborside Hotel.

Day of wedding attire is SEASIDE FORMAL. For this dress code, guests should aim for an elegant and sophisticated look that is also comfortable and practical for a warm, potentially breezy, coastal environment. Women are encouraged to wear elevated cocktail attire, floor-length dresses, or suits. Note that we'll be on grass. Men, please wear suits and ties, no shorts or open toed shoes.

The venue is in Downtown Bar Harbor, so there are a few options that are walkable to the venue. In addition to the hotels we've listed on the "Travel" page, there are Airbnbs/VRBOs in the area as well. We have a small discount code for the Harborside Hotel (on venue hotel). Please feel free to stay wherever you’ll feel comfortable! Labor Day Weekend can be busy in the area so we suggest booking your lodging early.

In early September, Bar Harbor, Maine typically experiences mild and comfortable weather, transitioning from summer to fall. Expect daytime temperatures in the mid-60s to low 70s, with evenings cooling down into the 50s. It's wise to pack layers to adapt to potential temperature fluctuations and cooler evenings.

We will not be providing transportation to the wedding venue. As there are multiple options within walking distance of the venue, we hope that our guests can walk to the Bar Harbor Club.

Bangor International Airport is the closest (1 hour drive), Portland Jetport is the second closest (3 hour drive), and Boston is a 4.5 hour drive. There is an airport in Bar Harbor, 20 minutes from the venue, but is small and mostly hosts CapeAir flights from Boston. We recommend a rental car.

Yes, there is on site parking and overflow paid parking on the adjacent streets.

Lyft and Uber are spotty in the area, so don't rely on this as your only form of transportation. Cab services are also available on Island.

While it is difficult to get to Bar Harbor without a car, it is possible! Concord Coach provides bus trips from Boston, stopping in Portland, and ending in Bangor. Downeast Transportation provides commuter bus service between Bangor and Bar Harbor, with a departure from Bangor Airport on weekdays. The bus does not operate on weekends or Monday holidays. For alternative transportation options, consider the Bar Harbor Shuttle, a private van service connecting Bangor transportation terminals with Bar Harbor.

Yes! Tennis is always an option as well as other activities depending on the weather (kayaking, paddleboarding, etc.). These weekend activities will be shared week of the wedding.
